Still wearing PJS? Got in a fight on the way to church? Life is hard and no one is asking you to be fake.
Christianity is unique in the sense that all other religion's are based on "earning" your way into eternity. We believe your way into eternity has already been paid for by Jesus, he earned it for you. We share the truth in love because the grace of Jesus isn't heavy handed, but gentle and kind. Every emotion we feel has a God designed purpose, but can also be used against us. God can use guilt and shame as a gentle nudge to move us in a better direction, but it can also be used by the enemy to paralyze us in that shame.
We encourage a culture that says "yes" to Jesus, and having an attitude that is willing to say "yes" even before knowing what his ask for us might be. Because of that we encourage everyone to take their next right step in faith.
We don't want to be a big church where people come and leave unnoticed. You can be anonymous if you'd like. But we want to come along side every single person that walks through our doors, helping them grow in their faith and praying for their needs.
We believe God has a unique plan for everyone's life. He wants to work in you, so that he can work through you. The love of Christ can be extended to our world so much more effectively when the entire church is involved with the mission, not just a few pastors.
God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross.
The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation.
The Bible is God’s Word to us. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit.
People are made in the image of God and are the supreme object of God’s creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called sin.
Salvation is God’s free gift to us, but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by accepting Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty.
We believe the church is the world-wide body of Christ. It is comprised of all believers who have been united through the sacrifice of Jesus.
People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. Heaven and hell are real places of eternal existence.
