Some of the specific responsibilities include:
The position of Student Ministry Pastor is a key position in an influential church. While many churches in the region have declined or ceased to exist—LifePoint has experienced two years of rapid growth.
The Student Ministry Pastor will be responsible for the coordination, recruitment, development, implementation, promotion, evaluation and growth of High School Ministry & Middle School Ministry at LifePoint Church, while successfully operating in a results-driven environment. This position will oversee all aspects of Student Ministry, including weekend services, mid-week small groups, camps, and leadership development of all Student Ministry programs.
An undergraduate degree is strongly preferred for this position, and the ideal candidate for this position will preferably have a minimum of two years in full-time student ministry experience, in order to successfully execute the responsibilities of the role. The candidate will be highly self-motivated and entrepreneurial with organizational competencies to scale. Alongside an exceptional ability to communicate, the prospective candidate will possess a strong leadership ability with an aptitude for recruitment, development, and shepherding a team of volunteers. They will additionally acquire a thorough understanding of, and show proven experience with, Deep and Wide and Simple Church models.
